EN 2026 is not only the year of WorldPride Amsterdam; it also marks the 80th anniversary of COC Netherlands, founded by Bob Angelo and recognised as the world’s oldest still existing LGBTIQ+ organisation. During WorldPride, Cavia presents a special programme revisiting an extraordinary Dutch legacy and asking: "Where are we now?". Supported by COC Netherlands and the Bob Angelo Fonds.
Stories of exceptional courage by LGBTIQ+ people under murderous Nazi occupation. Stories of the challenges faced today in the Netherlands, by trans people, migrants and persecuted LGBTIQ+ people in countries all around the world. Trans kwesties in Nederland zijn nog zeker niet opgelost.
